A minimum of two sessions will be charged for any judge that travels over 50 miles one way to the meet.

Mileage Reimbursement:
Mileage will be paid at $0.485 per mile for mileage over 50 miles one way. Judges should at all times arrange carpools with other judges living in the same city when driving to out of town meets. Carpools can be coordinated with the Booking Agent. Mileage cannot be charged in excess of the price of a 21-day advance purchase round trip airline ticket. Flight arrangements should be made in conjunction with the Booking Agent.
Meals:
$5.00 Breakfast
$10.00 Lunch
$20.00 Dinner
Breakfast can be charged if you leave home before 7:00 am. Dinner can be charged if you drive past 7:00 pm.
Reimbursements are not made if the host gym provides meals.
Lodging:
Lodging will be arranged by the Booking Agent and will be provided by the host gym for judges that need to drive more than two hours to be at a meet by 8:00 am or leave a meet after 9:00 pm. Judges should also be prepared to share a hotel room with another judge.

Attire:
The GGJA will follow the attire requirments of the NGJA. Men should wear grey slacks, blue sports jacket, light colored shirt, tie and dark shoes. Women should wear either grey pants or skirt, blue jacket, light colored shirt and dark shoes.

Fees for all judges at a meet will be billed to and collected from the host gym by the GGJA. The Booking Agent will designate one judge to complete a bill and collect the fees from the host gym. Each judge has an obligation to ensure that the bill is completed correctly at the close of a meet and a check from the host gym is collected prior to the judges' departure. The check and copy of the bill from the host gym should be forwarded to the Treasurer within 48 hours of the end of the meet. A copy of the GGJA bill can be found here.

The GGJA will deduct the following from each session's judge's fees: $3.00 for the Booking Agent fee, $7.00 for the Association fee, and $5.00 for the Intern fee. These deductions go to defray costs of communications, administration, training, and expenses for judges to travel on official GGJA business. The Intern fee will be deducted until the costs to cover all judges in training are fulfilled or until the Board of Directors deems it unnecessary to continue to deduct this fee. As a judge you will personally net $65.00 per session judged once all deductions are taken.

The Treasurer of the GGJA will write checks and mail them to individual judges at the end of the month with statements detailing the judges fees paid. If the bill to the host gym for meet is completed inaccurately or fees are not collected, the judges will not be reimbursed for those specific meet fees until the discrepancy is cleared.

As a member of the GGJA you have an obligation to understand and be able to communicate the above stated fee structure to any inquiring party. Hopefully this will answer any questions or concerns from the membership of the GGJA. If anyone has any questions or comments concerning this fee structure, please contact Charles East by telephone (404) 936-8265, or by e-mail charles.east@gmail.com. Thank you.
